Ripe raspberry, pomegranate, and blackberry fruit adds a second layer of warm spice, chocolate, oak, and maple, followed by a third layer of pepper and plum. Finishes with a fine-wine, vapor-filled blowback. An extraordinary value.

We're all about finding a great value. We get really excited when we've got something that is double your money, and we get really excited when it's something that is triple your money! We're up over triple your money here with the 2010 Montevina Barbera from Amador County. Now this is, you want to go somewhere else. You have the same old Cab. You have the same old Zin. Go Barbera here! Why? Montevina has old vine Barbera grapes planted up in the Sierra Foothills from a long long ago. The fruit flavors in here spectacular. Nine dollar price point twenty eight dollar valuation. A spectacular fine wine.

It's unbelievable you know. I just can't believe that this is a nine dollar wine. There is no doubt when you taste this wine that it is worth way more than nine bucks. This has big expensive fine wine characteristics and what am I really talking about is they put some time in the barrel here. This is quality wine made. It's not only got the great fruit that Joe was talking about, but it's got great wine making skills in here and it came thru. This wine is absolutely delicious. It has blackberry raspberry flavors with big spice. There's plum in this wine, chocolate, maple, oak. There's a pepper element in this wine. It is really really delicious. It's unbelieving that it's nine dollars. It may be the best nine dollar wine out there on the market right now.

Yeah I mean a lot of people would say this rises up into the higher forty fifty dollar category. I'll tell you, if you pull a forty dollar Barbera from somewhere and compare it to this chances are you're gonna go here. It's that good. The thing that really kicks this thing up into that fine wine territory pomegranate! You so rarely get true pomegranate coming through in a wine and its in here. It gives this wine a finesse and elegance. It's the citrus in the pomegranate. Very nicely balanced and this fine wine vaporfull blow back in the end lets you know you're truly drinking something special. It's a big two thumbs up to the Montevina from Amador County. It's a Barbera and it's delicious. Triple your money easily.
