It's all about the fruit here, and the fruit is delicious: apple, citrus, peach, and pear fruit tastes fresh and is wonderfully balanced by honey, honeysuckle, and butter. A sweet wine, with tiny bubbles ("frizzante") that add elegance. The finish is smooth, yet adds a delicious "zing" normally found in wines far more expensive. An extraordinary value with fine-wine qualities that are extremely rare at this price point.

Moscato alert! Let me tell you eleven dollar Moscato here twenty-four dollar value.
Wow!
This is one of the best Moscatos that you are ever going to try out. There's a lot of them out there and sometimes come across sickly sweet, don't have really great characteristics. This one does. It is Cupcake Vineyards from Italy. It's their Moscato and it's the 2013. It is just absolutely outstanding.
It's unbelievable! We've tasted hundreds of Moscatos. Very few make the grade period. Let alone double your money, let alone almost a fine wine quality to this. Apple, peach, pear but backed up. You know sometimes these things go too far into that sweet side. Apple, peach and pear getting close, but citrus comes through and freshens this thing up. It's amazing! You got the classic honeysuckle and honey elements in here. But you also have another, like a just a little more than a note, a flavor of butter in here that gives this thing some complexity. This is a sweet wine, but it's fresh and it's got a smooth finish. Let me tell you you're going to be saying "domo arigato Mr. Moscato." It's the 2013 Cupcake Vineyards Moscato from Italy. Unbelievable value.
