Dark cherry, cassis, and more red fruit is framed nicely by sweet oak and balanced by a blast of cinnamon spice, then gains complexity with blueberry, cola, raisin, and tobacco. Finishes smooth, with a fine-wine menthol blowback.

When you're up at the top shelf in the supermarket or the wine aisle of the big-box store you get a lot of choices.

Sometimes you stumble across things that you're not familiar with.
So why would you drop in this case 19 bucks for a wine that says Catherine Goldschmidt unless you know what the heck that is?

This is the crazy creek. It's from the Alexander valley, Cabernet Sauvignon.

You're looking at it, but why are you going to actually pull it off the shelf?

There's one reason why. This is going to be because somebody's reviewed it and told you it's good.

We reviewed it and we're telling you it's good.
Get this wine!!

This is not a joke. Crazy creek is crazy good!

Let me tell you, it is absolutely awesome, the aroma is fresh and bright. You know you're going to be in for a delicious Cabernet.

Red berries, cherry, blueberry. A raisin element that gives this dimension right off the bat, then you've got oak.

You've got a smooth, when I say smooth finish I mean like this this thing is so whisper smooth everyone will like this wine.

This one is layered, there's lots of fruit, and there's one other thing I love about this wine which you don't get very often in a Cabernet.

There's a cola element in here that is married with one of my favorite flavors of all time and that is sweet tobacco.

I agree with Joe, this wine is so smooth you're gonna get all the ladies saying "oh my goodness". If you want a smooth cab, here it is.

Let me tell you this is no $19 Cabernet. It's got an artisan wine taste all day long.

It's a forty dollar Cabernet and it at the end of the day it's too big big thumbs up for the 2010 Catherine Goldschmidt Crazy Dream from Alexandra Valley California.
